Nolza!

I'm anticipating this perf the most because of Park Bom's sister.
Her vocals is much better here compared to her old You and I live perf. And her legs in "Don't Cry" part is a killer. aaaaah!Good job Bom!

Yesterday, or should I say just this morning, I'm slumbering so peacefully around 2:30 then snap! WTF! My shift is what? 2 a.m! And I even arrived like 4 hours before my shift but all of my shitty effort went to waste because I fucking dozed off! Now my record cannot be considered as "breaking record"..it's unbreakable no more..it is so ordinary.. just like anybody else. so ordinary. fail!

The Five People You Meet In Heaven

Last book I've read...

The Five People You Meet In Heaven(2003)
Author: Mitch Albom
Rating:4/5

Book Description
Plot Eddie is a wounded war veteran, an old man who has lived, in his mind, an uninspired life. His job is fixing rides at a seaside amusement park. On his 83rd birthday, a tragic accident kills him, as he tries to save a little girl from a falling cart. He awakes in the afterlife, where he learns that heaven is not a destination. It's a place where your life is explained to you by five people, some of whom you knew, others who may have been strangers. One by one, from childhood to soldier to old age, Eddie's five people revisit their connections to him on earth, illuminating the mysteries of his "meaningless" life, and revealing the haunting secret behind the eternal question: "Why was I here?"

Wedding Daze

Last movie I saw...

Wedding Daze(2006)
Directed by: Michael Ian Black

Cast:
Jason Biggs
Isla Fisher

I searched for the trailer right away when I saw Isla Fisher's name. I still have hang ups from reading the fourth book of Shopaholic(lol!). I don't really like her the first time I saw her in Shopaholic movie(unknowingly she is also the actress in Scooby Doo!See? I'm not aware of her existence) But with the continuous exposure of the novel I grew to love her, the actress, she really fits the character. And from then on I just can't stop visualizing about her as Becky.

So moving forward, the trailer just heightened my expectation. However this film is a disappointment. They just waste a beautiful plot with like an over the place script. The intention of the film is good but aside from that almost 80 percent of the film is a waste. The delivery is like a one day production. But I still love Isla and she is so gorgeous in this film.(a consolation?..perhaps)

Someone Like You

Never mind
I'll find someone like you
I wish nothing but the best for you too
"Don't forget me", I beg
"I'll remember", you said
"Sometimes it lasts in love
But sometimes it hurts instead."
Sometimes it lasts in love
But sometimes it hurts instead,
Yeah

When Harry Met Sally

Last movie I saw...

When Harry Met Sally(1989)
Directed by: Rob Reiner

Cast:
Billy Crystal
Meg Ryan

This film is a classic favorite. And for others this even might be the number one romantic comedy film of all time.

I'm not actually familiar with Billy Crystal but I think he resembles Rob Schneider(don't you?haha) and Meg Ryan looks heavenly gorgeous in this that I unexpectedly mistook her as Drew Barrymore.(this only mean as I age, I find Drew attractive!uh-huh!) I appreciate Meg's hair do on this compared to City Of Angels.

The story revolves on the development of Harry and Sally's relationship. From having a conflict with other to friends that eventually end up falling in love with each other. The plot might be "overly use" already with my generation but maybe two decades ago the hilarious lines gives this common scenario a refreshing effect, making it a memorable film up to now.

It's a real good feel movie without any dragging parts thought I still find it a bit of "slow phase" but compared to other films from 90's, I can say that this is way better.

The Vow

OH-My-Golly! Imma watch this film! This is so fucking good!fuck!
The pairing is exceptional! waaaah! Showing on February 14 of 2012 and is like a century! I can't wait any longer! aaah!

Rise of the Planet of the Apes

Last movie I saw...

Rise of the Planet of the Apes(2011)
Directed by: Rupert Wyatt

Cast:
James Franco
Freida Pinto

Honestly, aside from "Kingkong", I don't have any interest on films revolving with apes or mankind. However it seems that things are inevitable because I already saw this film not only once but twice inside a bus! Argh!

In all fairness the film is quite good especially with the monkey character. It seem so real. But aside from that, I think it's pretty average. I don't even like the storyline.

Sunmi

This night I kept on browsing fan pages and random videos of WG, BB and Wonderbang.
I miss the idols in 2007. Those idols that are currently inactive and incomplete.
Wondergirls is missing sunmi and Bigbang does not include Daesung for any group activity at the moment because of a recent issue. Argh!

I wish after few weeks..or can we make it days..I wish to see those groups competing in music charts. Both promoting and complete.

Sunmi!Daesung! Aja!

Are You Afraid Of The Dark

I'm watching a video on YT when this show was mentioned. I remember how afraid am I on watching this show even though there are like more than 10 people in the house. This will always be one of my all time favorite horror show in 90's. And good news is we can actually watch the series in youtube. hooray!

Memoirs..

My fav fruit since birth

The usual "alone at office balcony" scene

The most embarrassing Shakeys dine out with Ate Jhonie(lol!)

Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank

Last movie I saw...

Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank(2011)
Directed by:Marlon Rivera

Cast:
JM de Guzman
Kean Cipriano
Cai Cortez
Eugene Domingo

I did not expect that this entry will be this great. Before Cinemalaya-7(2011) started I'm thinking that people would make a big fuss with this film just because it's comedy and it has Eugene Domingo which is known for her talent. I just don't see it as a cinemalaya material based on the actors.(which is a baseless thought and now proven wrong)Though I still include this on the list of the films that I should watch however I end up watching i-Libings.

And because of the overwhelming response and good reviews with this film, I can't help myself to watch it. I'm especially ecstatic on my seat in Gateway Cineplex while waiting for the film to start.(As a habit, I'm watching films with no one but myself!:D )

The theater inside is jam packed and even outside the movie house has a unusual number of movie goers. And when it started, all eyes are on screen then we started laughing and laughing...laughing and laughing. lol! We almost died of laughter but we did not just laugh because we also gained insights. Especially on the beginning of the film. I was actually taken aback on how they conclude their film(their=characters in the movie because this is a movie in a movie. Confuse?Fine!)

I have doubts when the first part of scene was shown because it doesn't seem to fit the people's description of "fun" film. But as the movie continues you'll learn the significance of the first part. I can totally relate with the aspiring movie maker(Kean,Jm and Cai)characters because in college we are also asked to produce films. And maybe that adds the connection with the characters and the reason why I appreciate it more. But beyond that film making theme the message behind the lines is not hidden to all of us. We are all aware of poverty in our country and this just shows another face of a crisis that our country has for like forever. I cannot say that this film serves as an eye opener on what is happening around in terms of the suffering of our fellow countrymen because I know that Teenagers and Youth in general is alread AWARE of it. But probably this helps on reminding us in case we have forgotten. For 190php, this film is all worth it. Good script and acting. Cheers for the writer for having a great mind and coming up with this entertaining satire.

Tuesdays with Morrie

Last book I've read...

Tuesdays with Morrie(1997)
Author:Mitch Albom
Rating:5/5

Book Description
Maybe it was a grandparent, or a teacher or a colleague. Someone older, patient and wise, who understood you when you were young and searching, and gave you sound advice to help you make your way through it. For Mitch Albom, that person was Morrie Schwartz, his college professor from nearly 20 years ago. Maybe, like Mitch, you lost track of this mentor as you made your way, and the insights faded. Wouldn't you like to see that person again, ask the bigger questions that still haunt you? Mitch Albom had that second chance. He rediscovered Morrie in the last months of the older man's life. Knowing he was dying of ALS - or motor neurone disease - Morrie visited Mitch in his study every Tuesday, just as they used to back in college. Their rekindled relationship turned into one final "class": lessons in how to live. This is a chronicle of their time together, through which Mitch shares Morrie's lasting gift with the world.

27 club according to wiki is an "exclusive" group of musician that all died at the age of 27. It is said to be the greatest myth of Rock&Roll by Eric Segalstad, who published a book about the controversial club.

And just recently, Amy Winehouse, a famous english singer was found dead at her house last 23rd of july . According to UK Daily Mail, it is suspected to be drug overdose. If that's the case, I agree with other celebrities..IT'S HER CHOICE. So it is pointless to pity her because in the first place she's aware of her action. I'm actually very intrigued of her reason instead. And despite of everything, she still has my respect. I'm deeply fascinated with this kind of character. I want to know what runs in their mind because they're too complicated and that what makes them more interesting. Well, bye for now amy. Fly high ❣ ❤❤❤
