Last movie I saw...

Heathers (1988)
Directed by: Michael Lehmann

Christian Slater
Winona Ryder

"People will look at the ashes of Westerburg and say, "Now there's a school that self-destructed, not because society didn't care, but because the school was society." Now that's deep."-J.D.

This film is a cult classic. I actually got curious after an actor from Sugar and Spice mentioned Heathers as one of the film's inspiration. An additional factor to see it is it's an 80's film, and I developed this fetish with any films produced in that decade.

Anyway, Heathers is a black comedy that took place in a High School setting. The twisted plot is definitely disturbing but perfectly depicts reality in unconventional way. There's nothing outstanding with its technicalities, but its strength lies with its plot.

All through out the film, I kept on thinking on how beautiful Christian Slater was- mortal sin.(giggles!)
